WERC offers a minor degree in environmental management and certificate programs at NMSU. Students are encouraged to enroll in environmentally focused courses while pursuing their higher education with support through the WERC fellowship program.

WERC also offers courses that include traditional lecture courses as well as on-line courses taken via Web-CT. These courses are available to students registered for college credit at New Mexico State University, as well as for non-registered students seeking professional development.
